Emilia Ombre Satin Maxi Dress

I ordered the orange in a size S and honestly I was not expecting it to look this good in person. The color shifts from a deep burnt orange at the hem to a softer peach near the neckline and it catches light in the most incredible way. Wore it to a beach wedding and got stopped three times before I even sat down.

Packed this for a week in Mexico and wore it three separate times to three different dinners because nobody cared and I looked incredible every time. The open back keeps it cool in the heat and the satin does not wrinkle badly when folded in a suitcase. Absolute steal at this price.

The ombre on the orange colorway is genuinely stunning and the satin quality feels way more expensive than the price tag suggests. The satin is a little sheer in strong light so wearing a nude slip or shorts underneath is a good idea. Once I figured that out I was completely happy because the dress itself is stunning. The orange ombre is warm and rich and the open back is such a beautiful detail.

At this price point I expected the satin to feel a little plasticky but it actually feels really nice, smooth and drapey without being stiff. The ombre gradient is the star though. It looks like someone painted it by hand.

The dress is really beautiful and the orange ombre looks incredible on warm skin tones. It came pretty wrinkled from the packaging which took some careful steaming to fix, but once that was sorted it was perfect. Would still order again without hesitation.

The dress itself is absolutely gorgeous and the ombre gradient in orange is so much richer in person than in the photos. My only issue is that the open back makes wearing a bra basically impossible, so fair warning if you need support. Still wearing it to my friend's engagement party regardless.
